Zachary Bainter, CFP®

Managing Partner

Zach Bainter is a Managing Partner and Founding Member of Gerber Kawasaki. With a passion for forging meaningful client relationships, Zach specializes in crafting bespoke financial and investment strategies as a Certified Financial Planner™.

Based in Santa Monica but serving clients nationwide, Zach's expertise extends to the technology and start-up sectors, where he excels in optimizing equity-based compensation planning. He loves helping his clients become more financially secure on their path to achieving personal financial goals.

A Northern California native and UCLA magna cum laude graduate, Zach holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science. He further honed his skills with a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Boston University. Zach was recently named a Leader of Influence by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

When Zach is not with clients, he might be on an adventure with his wife, Lindsey, their son, Henry, and their two dogs. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys riding his bicycle and hiking. If sports are not on, he finds entertainment in reading an old-fashioned newspaper or book.

Since Zach was young, he has always recognized the importance of giving back. After the heartbreaking loss of their first son, Zach and Lindsey created a non-profit, The Parker H. Bainter Foundation, focused on helping families in need who find themselves in the pediatric ICU. Zach is also a longstanding board member of the Santa Monica History Museum.

Where will crypto head this fall?

Ongoing debates on whether to hold cryptocurrencies in IRAs or 401(k)s continue. Regulations remain in the air, but some familiar digital assets are ready to incorporate them into their larger portfolio. Gerber Kawasaki was one of the leading wealth management firms to offer direct exposure to clients, but we are not adding crypto to our client's retirement accounts.

Managing Partner and Director of Gerber Kawasaki's Digital Assets Program Zach Bainter shares why in an article by Investment News.
