BIO
Steven Evensen, CFP® is an Investment Advisor Representative with Gerber Kawasaki. He was born and raised in Orange County California, where he had the privilege of being able to play football and surf within the same day. He attended San Diego State University and was an executive on multiple business societies while studying business administration with an emphasis in finance.
Steven always knew that he wanted to build relationships and help people succeed. With his newfound knowledge of financial markets, he realized the wealth management profession was the perfect fit for him. He began his career at Vanguard in Scottsdale where he had his first experience helping individual investors. Soon after he left the desert heat to be closer to home, he began working with high-net-worth clients at Charles Schwab in Los Angeles.
As an advocate for continuing education and lifelong learning, he obtained his CFP® marks as quickly as possible to sharpen his skills. With the additional knowledge gained from obtaining this designation he can assist clients in all stages of financial planning; from purchasing a first home, to analyzing equity stock options, to reviewing spending in retirement.
Once Steven heard about Gerber Kawasaki, he knew it was the next step for him. Our firm's focus on comprehensive financial planning, progressive investing strategies, and the willingness to work with clients at all asset levels align with his core values.
When he isn’t mastering his craft or working with clients, he enjoys surfing, cooking, reading, and hiking with his girlfriend and their dog India.
