BIO

Brendan Jung, CFP® is a Wealth Advisor at Gerber Kawasaki Wealth & Investment Management, where he specializes in comprehensive financial planning and wealth management for individuals, families, and tech professionals. Brendan holds the distinction of being the firm’s first employee to expand operations beyond its Santa Monica headquarters, leading the launch of the company’s Bellevue, Washington office.

A Pacific Northwest native, Brendan returned to the Seattle area after spending more than a decade in California. Since beginning his career in financial services in 2013 after earning his finance degree from the University of Washington, he has advised a diverse range of clients, including young professionals, business owners, retirees, and ultra-high-net-worth families across the country. He has extensive experience helping technology professionals navigate complex compensation structures, including RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, and equity-based compensation planning.

Brendan’s passion for financial planning is deeply personal. After losing his father at a young age, he witnessed firsthand the financial uncertainty families can face during times of hardship. Seeing his mother struggle with complex financial decisions and later experience significant losses caused by a trusted advisor shaped Brendan’s commitment to providing transparent, trustworthy financial guidance. He believes wealth management is about more than investments; it is about helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and long-term financial security.

At Gerber Kawasaki, Brendan was drawn to the firm’s innovative approach to wealth management, collaborative culture, and mission to make high-quality financial advice accessible without asset minimums. His practice focuses on holistic financial planning, including investment management, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance analysis, and philanthropic planning. Brendan works closely with clients to simplify their financial lives and build personalized strategies aligned with their long-term goals and values.

Outside of work, Brendan enjoys competitive golf, though he describes himself as “an uncompetitive competitive golfer,” and watching documentaries that explore unfamiliar cultures, industries, and subcultures.
