Brogan Mooney is a Wealth Planning Associate at Gerber Kawasaki, working closely with Managing Partner, Matthew Iantosca. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, he developed an early interest in financial planning during high school as part of an entrepreneurship club where he and his team launched a company. While most were drawn to product design or marketing, Brogan was fascinated by the financial side—how to make the numbers align and the business profitable. That experience, combined with his desire to build meaningful, lasting relationships, sparked his passion for financial planning.
Brogan went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to begin his career in wealth planning. His time at a large financial firm exposed him to thousands of clients with a wide variety of goals and circumstances, giving him invaluable experience in developing tailored strategies and understanding that no two financial journeys are alike.
As a Wealth Planning Associate, Brogan is dedicated to meeting clients where they are and helping them move confidently toward their goals. Coming from a large extended family, he understands the importance of strong relationships and works to create the same depth of trust and connection with the families and individuals he advises. For him, financial planning is not only about the numbers—it’s about understanding each person’s unique story and building a plan that reflects it.
Outside of the office, Brogan can often be found on the golf course or basketball court, exploring Los Angeles’ newest restaurants, or spending quality time with friends and family.
