Daniel Kutsch serves as a Trade Support and Research Analyst at Gerber Kawasaki, where he supports portfolio management, trading operations, and market research initiatives. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Daniel brings a diverse background that shapes his analytical approach and fuels his passion for helping clients navigate financial markets.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Investment Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also completed a second major in Physics with a focus on Quantitative Finance. This dual degree provided him with a strong technical foundation and a rigorous analytical mindset. During his time at UNC, Daniel competed as a Division I student-athlete on the university’s soccer team. His experience instilled a high-performance mindset, discipline, and a deep appreciation for teamwork—qualities he now brings to his professional role.
The son of German immigrants involved in research and drug discovery, Daniel was raised in an environment that emphasized critical thinking and problem-solving. This upbringing naturally led him to a career that blends business strategy, analytics, and innovative thinking. He discovered his passion for investment management through the intersection of these disciplines, viewing financial markets as a dynamic, intellectually rewarding landscape.
