He is passionate about helping the next generation take control of their finances, build wealth, and create long-term financial stability.
Jimmy’s journey began with the influence of his father, an immigrant who built his own business through hard work and perseverance. Growing up in this entrepreneurial environment, Jimmy developed a strong foundation in financial literacy, learning about the stock market and economics at a young age. This early exposure led him to view life through the lens of opportunity and sparked a lifelong interest in investing.
By 2011, after buying his first item on Amazon, Jimmy recognized the company’s potential and asked his father to invest in its stock. His passion for the markets continued to grow, leading him to San Diego State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. During the pandemic, Jimmy’s classmates began turning to him for market insights, reinforcing his desire to help others build financial confidence and success.
Determined to educate and empower new investors, Jimmy launched a YouTube channel focused on financial education. His drive to provide accessible and trustworthy guidance ultimately led him to Gerber Kawasaki, a firm aligned with his belief in progressive investing, personalized planning, and a client-first approach at every asset level.
Today, Jimmy works closely with athletes and professionals in the athletics industry, providing tailored investment strategies, tax-efficient planning, and long-term wealth management. He helps clients navigate cash flow during high-earning years, build investment portfolios that align with their goals, and prepare for life beyond sports or business.
Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys cooking, playing Catan, and passionately cheering for the Chargers. He is also a board member of The California Support Network, a nonprofit that supports community college students in transferring to four-year universities.
