Joanna Baca is the Social Media and Marketing Associate at Gerber Kawasaki. With over six years of experience across finance and accounting, in addition to a strong social media presence, she brings an analytical foundation and strategic mindset to brand storytelling and digital content.
In her role at Gerber Kawasaki, she focuses on elevating the firm’s social media presence, creating engaging content, and strengthening the firm’s digital voice across platforms - helping translate complex financial ideas into clear, relatable messaging for clients and audiences.
Born and raised in Los Angeles and coming from a hardworking family, Joanna earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Accounting from UCLA as a first generation college student. Her mission is to help others achieve financial freedom and build generational wealth. Having realized at an early age that access to financial resources and education can be limited, she is committed to helping eliminate that gap for future generations by bringing financial literacy to her family, friends, and broader community.
Beyond her professional role, Joanna is highly involved in mentoring young female scholars in the community, supporting their academic and professional growth.
