Hatem Dhiab is a Founding and Managing Partner at Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management, he has a unique background that enables him to appeal to clients from diverse backgrounds. Raised in a racially mixed family of bankers in Tunisia and France, he learned to be adaptable, self-reliant, and responsible from an early age.
Hatem moved to the US at the age of 18 to attend university and pursue his dream career on Wall Street. Hatem graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in International Business and Finance at CSULA. After college, he resolved to build a career in finance. With an aptitude for numbers and entrepreneurship, It was apparent that wealth & investment management were the most exciting and suitable places for his ethics and talents. This career path provided Hatem with the ability to grow personally, help real people with tangible goals and aspirations, research and direct investments, and build long-lasting relationships. Hatem received a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Bryant University and he is a CFP® professional.
Hatem's success is a testament to his ability to listen, understand his client's needs, help them clarify and prioritize their financial goals, and implement a plan of action while continually monitoring and educating. His knowledge of advanced planning techniques and complex tax issues allows him to understand the bigger picture and coordinate with his client's team of professionals.

Hatem is often a guest on major TV networks discussing financial trends and his views on media, technology, and innovation. He founded the popular GK podcast Future Money and is deeply involved in the Los Angeles Technology and start-up scene. He’s also a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization Los Angeles chapter. Within GK, Hatem leads both the technology, High Net Worth, and international groups where he works with ex-pats and foreign nationals on cross-border planning, international investments, and complex strategies.
In addition to his professional achievements, Hatem is on the Board of Trustees of Selfless Love Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of current and former foster kids through awareness and partnerships.
A Venice Beach resident, he enjoys being active and the outdoors while indulging his love for his family, friends, travel, and wine. He is an avid reader interested in tech entrepreneurship, world politics, and business.

The Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification is a prestigious designation for investment professionals. It focuses on practical portfolio construction and wealth management strategies. The CIMA® designation is issued by the Investments and Wealth Institute.
Initial Certification Requirements:
Experience: Have a minimum of three years of verified work experience in the financial services sector.
Education: Complete an executive education program through an approved provider (University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Yale School of Management, or Portfolio Construction Forum), focusing on investment management principles and practices.
Exams: Pass the CIMA® Certification exam, demonstrating a strong grasp of investment analysis, portfolio management, and ethical conduct in financial services.
Ongoing Requirements:
